Vein Care Specialist

Statement of the Job:

  • We are seeking an experienced vein specialist who is passionate, driven, and truly enjoys the field of venous disease to join our team of dedicated venous disease.
  • Responsibilities include evaluation of patients with CEAP 0-6 venous disease, leg swelling, lymphedema, and ability to perform the entire spectrum of minimally invasive procedures such as: Thermal Ablation Procedures (laser and RFA), Endovenous Chemical Ablation (Ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy), Varithena, MOCA, and phlebectomy.
  • Familiarity and competence with venous ultrasound.
  • No on-call or weekends.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will be board certified in one of the following specialties – Vascular Surgery, General Surgery, Interventional Radiology, Interventional Cardiology, Vascular Medicine, Phlebology, Emergency Medicine. 
Prior experience in venous procedures is required. We prefer a candidate who has proven outcomes and dedication to the field of vein disorders by additional certifications such as board certification by AVLS and ultrasound credentials such as RVPI, or RPhS. Prior experience in an IAC accredited facility helpful.
  • Board certification in one of the above specialties.
  • At least one-year experience in treating vein disease is preferred, but not required.
  • An active unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of California.
  • DEA (CA).
  • Comfortable with educating the community with occasional TV News Segments or public speaking.   
  • Strong patient advocacy, impeccable morale and ethical character, and strong leadership skills.
