AVLS remains committed to Advocacy, Research & Education. It is a commitment self-evident in the history of our Past, central in the entirety of our Present, and the core of our Future vision for the Society.
Following pandemic, AVLS experienced a number of operational issues which destabilized the Society financially. These cascading problems of pandemic shutdown, operational contracts and financial instability forced the Society to seek Chapter 11 bankruptcy in order to restore the AVLS to stable operations.
The Society wants to be transparent about this – so we created this section of the website to speak directly to you – the healthcare professional working in venous and lymphatic medicine who wants to understand what happened at AVLS and what is being done to ensure it doesn’t happen again. Only then does AVLS leadership believe venous and lymphatic practitioners in this field will want to participate in their Society’s Future.
