Learning Objectives

  • Evaluate patients with venous and/or lymphatic disease and describe the interconnections of superficial venous, deep venous, and lymphatic disease.
  • Assess the treatment goals that patients want to accomplish and the impact of venous and lymphatic disease on a patient's quality of life.
  • Distinguish between the indications and contraindications of different treatment techniques and technologies.
  • Diagnose and treat lymphedema and phlebolymphedema.
  • Discuss advanced venous and lymphatic diseases and treatments, including wound care and ulcer management.

Target Audience

The primary target audience of the 36th Annual Congress includes physicians, physician assistants, advanced registered nurse practitioners, ultrasound technologists, practice administrators, lymphedema therapists, and all other healthcare professionals currently or planning to care for patients with venous and lymphatic disease.

The Venous & Lymphatic Village is an interactive education opportunity to learn the science and best practices around the technologies and products available in venous and lymphatic medicine. Originally launched in 2018, the Village provides a space for attendees to engage with exhibitors with a hands-on, educational focus. Each presenting exhibitor will have applied and been selected by the Annual Congress Program Planning Committee. 

Attending the Venous & Lymphatic Village is an in-person experience only and is not eligible for CME.


Ultrasound Hands-on Workshop

Tickets: $100

This exclusive hands-on workshop is available for those looking for more in-depth training on venous ultrasound. Our expert faculty will host a live scanning experience allowing attendees to practice scanning and learn new methods to improve their technique. Only 25 spots are available for the Workshop, so be sure to register in advance.

The Ultrasound Hands-on Workshop is an in-person experience only.

Our bus will run a continuous loop between the Hyatt Regency and the French Quarter until 11:00 PM.
