White House

The White House is the official residence and workplace of the president of the United States. Located at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, D.C., is has served as the residence of every U.S. president since John Adams in 1800 when the national capitol was moved from Philadelphia. "The White House" is also used as a metonym to refer to the Executive Office of the President of the United States. 

US Capitol Building

The United States Capitol in Washington, D.C., is a symbol of the American people and our government and the meeting place of the nation's legislature, the U.S. Congress. The Capitol is a working office buiding, but it is also the place whre visitors from around the world come to learn about American democracy.

National Mall

The core area of the National Mall extends between the United States Capitol grounds to the east and the Washington Monument to the west and is lined to the north and south by several museums and federal office buildings. The term National Mall may also include areas that are also officially part of neighboring West Potomac Park to the south and west and Constitution Gardens to the north, extending to the Lincoln Memorial on the west and Jefferson Memorial to the south. Other points of interest include; The Smithsonian, National Air and Space Museum, National Gallery of Art, United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, Library of Congress, Washington Monument, and the White House.

Georgetown

Georgtown is a historic neighborhood and commercial district in Northwest Washington, D.C., situated along the Potomac River. Founded in 1751 as part of the colonial-era Province of Maryland, Georgetown predated the establishment of Washington, D.C. by 40 years. Georgetown is home to the main campus of Georgetown University and other landmarks, including the Old Stone House 91765), and the oldest still standing building in Washington, D.C.
